So how to build a following of buyers on Facebook?
Lets get one thing straight if people are not buying your stuff you don’t make any money, regardless of how hard you work or how many likes/comments you get.
Its actually far better and more effective to have a following of people that WANT to buy your stuff rather than people just mindlessly liking the latest click bait post you’ve stolen from someone.
I want to give 4 key things inside of this article to help you build a following of buyers on Facebook.
Lets start with….
1- Post Engaging but RELEVANT Content.
Now, what I see a lot of people do is, they post anything just for likes and comments, something with no real value and they’ll just literally post it just for getting likes and comments, without any real care if it is relevant to their following.
Now, likes and comments are great, but that has no actual impact on your following, it means your posts reach more people, but it doesn’t mean that it’s reached the right people.
At the end of the day, it’s better to have 50 likes from people who actually want to buy your stuff, than it is to have 200 likes from people who just like it because you’ve asked them to like it, wouldn’t you agree?
The key is to understand that it’s not always about quantity, it’s about quality, and also it’s about having the right message in front of the right audience.
So make sure that when you’re posting content it’s relevant to you, it’s relevant to what you want to be known as, it’s relevant to your audience, and it’s in the right place where your audience hangs out.
Don’t just do things for the sake of it, or don’t just do things because you want likes and comments, because the reality is, like and comments do not pay your bills.
Focus on good quality engaging content that educates people, that gets people fired up, that gets people interested in you as an individual.

2- Do Your Part and Engage!
I see a lot of people just whack a post on Face book and they think that’s it. If you really, really want to build a following, you’ve got to follow a few people.
If you want people to engage with you, you’ve got to engage with others first.
So head on over, comment on people’s statuses, like people’s statuses.
Don’t just do it for the sake of it and just scrolling down clicking like, like, like, like, like.
Make sure you actually take time out of your day to read people’s posts, take an interest. Is it time-consuming? Yes, it is. But I tell you what, people will appreciate you more and you’ll build a lot bigger following if you take time out for people and be available.
Don’t try and take a shortcut. Building a brand and building a following is hard work, it takes consistency, it takes effort.
Reach out, engage, connect and do your fair share yourself if you want to build a following. So, liking people’s status, commenting on people’s status, asking how their day is, asking them questions, engaging, taking interest.
If you’ve got someone that you follow on Facebook that have bigger brands than you, become consistent on their posts, commenting, sharing your insights, sharing your input.
Go out there, find some of the big leaders in the industry that you’re following in your particular niche, comment on their stuff, engage, ask questions, become known as a common face.
I promise you, as long as your profile is set up correctly, more and more people will reach out to you, and that’s the most important thing.

3- Feed Your Post Via Other Sources
This is a simple tip but an effective one as well, feed your post and your content via other formats.
Use the groups that are out there, there’s pages that you can like, heading over to people’s like pages, comment, engage, take interest in people. Maybe even create a connection or a friendship, add them as a friend, and then after you’ve had a little bit of a chat and you think you can help them out, point them towards your content.
If you’ve got a post on Facebook that’s doing pretty well, share it to other platforms, because guess what, people use more than one social media and it’s super important to feed them all into the same place.
For me, Facebook is my primary method, everything feeds Facebook. So when I’m doing posts or videos I will share them to multiple groups.
I’ve got different groups for different things, different coaching groups, different communities, and I will feed that content with these communities.
Also, when you’re posting your content always look at ways on how you can expand and branch out to get more traffic to get more eyeballs on you, that’s the secret to this game, is getting more eyeballs on your content.
4- The Magic Word
Here’s the 4th and final tip a word that I guarantee you’ve heard a lot, consistency.
Be consistent, show up every single day with your content, show up every single day with your marketing, always turn up and always be willing to give people value.
Always be willing to comment, engage and like on other statuses.
I guarantee it’ll take time, it may seem exhausting, it may be time-consuming, but eventually you will build a following of people that want to work with you and actually ultimately taking an interest in what you do, and that’s what you want as a marketer.
