So you’re in a online/home business that requires you to sell a particular product, and everybody else around you seems to be making sales, and you’re just struggling to get the product into people’s hands. You’re just struggling to get people to say yes to buying your product.
You love your products, you see all the great benefits it offers but you just keep thinking to yourself, “Damn. Why can I not sell it, or why can nobody see the vision that I have for this particular product?”
What I want to ask you is instead of focusing why people aren’t buying your product, instead of focusing why you can’t make sales, I want you begin to think about the reasons why people BUY your products.
(If you have made no sales at all then ask inside your team)
If you made one or two sales in the past or you’ve made some sales in the past and they’ve slowed down, I want you to sit and think why did that person buy your product.
If you don’t know maybe you could ask them? “Hey. I’m just curious. I’m doing a bit of a survey. Just curious why do you buy this product?” …. “Well, it makes me feel good. It makes me feel healthy.”….“Awesome why is that important to you ?”
“Well it allows me to get through my days easier without snapping at my wife or feeling stressed”
Now we have a specific reason WHY, people have purchased these products, just from asking 2 questions.
Now you have some marketing fuel. See the thing is people don’t buy products for the stats and figures, they buy to solve a problem they may have.
We are looking for an emotional want or desire that has driven them to buy.
Meaning if you can be very SPECIFIC with your marketing and message you are more likely to resonate with people.
Now you have the emotional reason why people buy you can begin to build content. Rather than talking about your product you could do lives or status that start :-
“How to get through your days full of energy even if you woke up tired”
“3 tips for maintaining high energy levels in a challenging and tiring lifestyle”
Writing and providing your content in this way is key to resonating and connecting to an audience.
Why does this work? think about it, nobody likes to be sold to. MOST people if you ask them “do you like salespeople?” will say no.
However people love to learn and people like to be educated, this is why Youtube is so huge now is because its based on people LEARNING or getting knowledge.
