A very common misconception when you are totally sold on what you do.
Being so passionate about a product can often lead to you wondering “why does no one see the quality I see?”
Here’s the thing VALUE is something that is judged by the buyer and not the seller.
Everyone who is selling something thinks their product is worth every penny they are asking and more……….
A bottle of water in your local shop would demand a price of approx £1.
Now that’s not too much or not too little of what you would expect in this day and age so MOST people would pay £1. £1 being reasonable and pretty good value.
Let’s change the SITUATION , NEED & ENVIRONMENT for a second.
You are stranded in a desert, you have not had a drink for over 48 hours and the sun beats on you hotter than anything you’ve ever felt. You are suffering hugely from thirst to the point you could die. Someone approaches with the same £1 bottle of water and now is demanding a price of £25 ….
Would you pay it ?
Despite it being 25x more than what we would normally pay it’s not the price we make the decision on its the NEED and WANT for the particular product.
You’d pay it.
You would have to.
Then and only then will the prospect see VALUE in what you offer. Focusing on the value to them in their particular circumstance is the key to them looking past the price and making a decision they know they need to make.
Remember value will always be dictated by the client and not what YOU think.
You thinking your product is good value is your OPINION… The secret is getting your potential customer to share that opinion.
I cover this subject in great deal my TMBB program.
Im currently talking to those on the waiting list to get a slot as we open again in a couple weeks
